NICHOLSON, DORIS - 1926 - 2013 - Doris Nicholson, age 87, of Port Elgin, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Born in Chipman, NB, she was a daughter of the late Beverly and Elizabeth (Henderson) Quigley. Doris worked hard to raise her family, she was known for her wonderful cooking. She will be dearly missed by her only daughter Cindy (Carl) Delaney of Malden, five grandsons; four great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry (Joyce) Quigley, and William Quigley; and sister, Lila Kaegi. She was predeceased by husband, Hudson Nicholson; three sisters, Vera, Dorothy, and Myrtle; three brothers, Hazen, James, and Bliss.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Jones Funeral Center, 3 West Main St., Port Elgin, NB (506-538-2241) on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 1 to 2 pm. Funeral service will follow immediately at 2 pm, Wayne Jarvis officiating. Burial will take place in the Fernwood Cemetery, Port Elgin.www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
