MILNE, ARTHUR - The death of Arthur James Milne occurred on August 25, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born June 14, 1929, he was the loving husband to Shirley (Jones) Milne. Arthur loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the ILA Local 273. Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Robert (Glenda) of Rothesay, NB and Arthur (Claire) of Upper Golden Grove, NB; daughter, Jo Ann (John) Thorne of Salisbury, NB; brother, William; sisters, Hazel and Marjorie; grandchildren, Lindsay, Robert, Tina, Angela, Tyson, Alicia, Megan and Shannon; and 7 great-grandchildren. Arthur was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Bessie (Randalls) Milne; brothers, Donald, Harold, Roy and Kenny, sisters, Marion and Eleanor.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Visitation will take place on Monday, August 26, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm and on Tuesday August 27, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A memorial service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
