It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Leslie Young announce his passing at his family ­residence in Corner Brook on Monday, August 26, 2013 at the age of 63 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and ­loving memories: his loving wife, Vickie Hartery Young; sons: Taylor and Robbie; sisters: Kathy Evans (Stan), Bride (Frank) Janes, and Faye (Phillip) Simon; brother, Wayne (Kay); mother-in-law, Cherie Hartery; nieces and nephews: Chris, Terry, Brenda, Todd, James, Kathy and Trudy, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by ­parents, William & Florence Young and son, Jason. Cremation has taken place at William’s request. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Chapel, 167 Country Road, Corner Brook, on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 12 Noon - 2:00 p.m., from where the Service of Remembrance will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Captains Stephen and Erika White officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
