LUNN, DAVID A. – David Andrew Lunn passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Devoted husband to his wife of 43 years Rosie, who passed away in 2010. He loved her so much and it is a comfort to his family to know that Dave and Rosie are together again. Born in Saint John March of 1938 to the late Harry Thomas and Ruth Elizabeth (Day) Lunn. Dave worked for Marshall Schofield and John Searle Agency in office equipment, retiring in 1984. He enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, furniture re-finishing, classic cars and old music. In earlier years he and his wife Rosie were dedicated volunteers at the Latimore Lake Community Center and enjoyed gardening together. David is survived by his sons Daryl (Karen) and David F. (Theresa) both of Saint John; grandchildren Jennifer, Shawn, Travis, Trevor, Amanda, Dawn and Jared; and great- granddaughter Rachel; several nieces, nephews, friends and special friends the entire Scott Family, Sue and Ed Daly, Hollis and Shirley Brewster, Shirley Kirkpatrick and Mavis Wisted. Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his loving wife Rosie (Noftell) Lunn and friend Gerry Wisted.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation Friday, August 30, 2013 from 11:00 to 12 noon. Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 30th at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
