We are sad to announce the passing of Ray MacAusland, on Sunday, August 25, 2013, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, aged 76 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Samuel and Flossie (MacKinnon) MacAusland. Husband of Sharon (Russell) Ross-MacAusland, and the late Norma (Baglole) MacAusland. Survived by his children Claude (Linda) MacAusland; Monty (Corinne) MacAusland; Heather (Milton Jr.) Baglole; Chris (Tanya) MacAusland; Brenda (Kevin) Stegmann; Joy MacAusland; Jorden (Stephanie) MacAusland; son-in-law Donnie Graham; stepsons Rob (Mari Ann) Ross; Jason (Diane) Ross; 23 grandchildren;18 great-grandchildren; and by his brother Gerald (Jean) MacAusland. Predeceased by his grandson Andy Balkwill; brothers Major, Leonard, Preston, Lloyd, Arnold, Gary and Elton; sisters Ruth Jeffery and Eileen Arsenault. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to the Summerside Presbyterian Church, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
