MURPHY, JOYCE EMBLETON - Joyce E. Murphy of St. Stephen, NB and formerly of Brockway, NB passed away August 28, 2013 at the Charlotte County Hospital. Born in Brockway, NB in 1926, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Ella (Swan) Langley. Before her retirement, Joyce was employed for more than thirty years with the Royal Bank. She is survived by two sisters, Norma Langley, St. Stephen, NB and Marilyn Hansen (Asbjorn), Ottawa, ON; a brother, Armin Langley (Betty), Old Ridge, NB; two step-daughters, Jean Little (Curtis), Island View, NB and Sandra Corey (Richard), Harvey Station, NB; several nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Lester Murphy in 1982
Visitation will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. at St. Andrew’s United Church, 2350 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB with Rev. Kay Clowater officiating. Interment will follow at Cherry Mountain Cemetery.
