Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at St. Clare’s Hospital, six days short of her 94th birthday. Mary Winnifred Branton resided at St. Luke’s Cottage, formerly of Thornlea. Predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Gordon, who passed away on January.15,2013. Also, her Father and Mother; Edward and Winnifred Hawco. Brothers; Tom and Edward, sisters; Rita Miller, Margaret Fulford and Veronica Hynes. Brothers-in-law; James Branton, Caleb Branton, Ernest Branton and William Branton. Sisters-in-law; Lucy Syms, Mary Smith and Pearl Garrington. She will be dearly missed by her children; Edward (Rose), Gerald (Donna), Keith (Cindy), Daughters; Doreen Bouzane (Michael) , Margaret White (Elwood), grandchildren; Stephen, Amanda, Jennifer, Darren, Melanie, Jonathan, Meghan, Andrew and Melissa, great-grandchildren; Emily, Ethan, Jackob, Brooklyn, Colby, Kade, Kaelam and Lucas. She also leaves to mourn her sisters - in - law Mildred Bonnell, Effie Thompson, Ida Hawco and special niece Annette Hynes, as well as a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Faith United Church, Thornlea. Visitation on Monday 2-4 and 7-9, Tuesday 10-12. Funeral Service will be held from Faith United Church on Tuesday, September 3rd at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Faith United Cemetery.
