(nee George) Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family at the Health Sciences Complex on Tuesday, March 11, 2008. Amelia Bennett aged 86 years. Predeceased by her husband George. Leaving to mourn are her sons: Philip (Joan), Paul (Lynn) and Rodger (Peggy); daughters: Joan Patten (Douglas) and Janet Cormey (Derrick); grandchildren: Paula Evans (Randy), Philip, Kathy Saunders (Ian), Peter (Jo-Anne), Andrew, Hope, Liam, Daniel, Adam and Natalie; great-grandson: Zakari; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett's Chapel on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
