Died peacefully in his sleep in his 84th year. Leaving to mourn, in his last words, “my beautiful wife” of 57 years, Violet (Colbourne); sons: Robert (Daphane) of Goose Bay, Peter (Linda) of St. John’s and daughter Rhonda (John Harper Owen) of Dubai, UAE; six grandchildren Lori, Matthew, Robert, Charmayne, Megan and Jonathan. A good husband, great father, loving grandfather and man of the sea who led a full, long and very happy life. Celebration of his life to take place at St. Anthony United Church on Saturday, 07 September. Resting at Fillatre’s Funeral Home.
