Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, August 29, 2013, Jessie E. Earle of Carbonear, age 95 years. Predeceased by husband: Ronald W.; sons: Dr. Hunter Earle and Gary Earle; special friend: Mildred Churchill. Left to mourn, two daughters: Ada (Jim) Penney and Janice (George) Penney, both of Carbonear; daughters-in-law: Elizabeth Earle, Mount Pearl and Marilyn (Jerry) Pasternak, USA; nine grandchildren: Craig, Grant, Janice, Susanne, Michelle, Christopher, Stephen, Brian and Trevor; nineteen great-grandchildren; brother-in-law: Walter (Frances) Earle, Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Mary (George) Saunders, St. John’s and Nina Garland, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. Hugh Fudge conducted the Funeral service on Sunday, September 1 from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment took place in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Carbonear. Donations in her memory may be made to St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear.
