Langtry, Christopher Charles “Epstein”– Suddenly passed away on Friday August 30, 2013 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, at age 42. He is survived by his wife Corena (Ottawa), parents Faye and Chuck (Ottawa/Marshville, NS), sister Mar (China), grandmother Reba Jenkins (Truro) and many uncles, aunts and cousins in Nova Scotia & British Columbia. Predeceased by his grandfather Bill (Buppy) Jenkins. Chris was a recent graduate of Carleton University after many years of hard work. He loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs and will be missed by his dog Sersi. He lived life with a thirst for knowledge both academic and the unusual. Chris was a champion pool player, loved reading and after his vision impairment he continued with audio books. He had a passion for the NFL and was a devoted fan of the New Orleans Saints. Many thanks to all the staff at the neuro ICU at the Ottawa Civic Hospital for their kindness and compassion. Through Christopher, other lives will be greatly extended, via the Trillium Gift of Life.

A committal service will take place on Wednesday Sept. 11th at 1:00 pm in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley.
