Corporal Paul Leonard Parsons

Date de décès : 30 août 2013

The unexpected passing of Corporal Paul Leonard Parsons of Beaverdam, NB, formerly of Gander, Newfoundland occurred at McLeods, NB, on Friday, August 30, 2013 at the age of 50.
Paul joined the Canadian Military in July, 1988 serving with distinction both nationally and on international peacekeeping operations in Bosnia Herzogvina. Originally joining the military as a Vehicle Technician, which was only natural given Paul’s love of motorcycles, he later joined the “Wolf Pack” (403 Sqn., Gagetown) where he served as a highly respected Aircraft Structure (ACS) Technician and friend. When not spending time with the love of his life Kim and the girls he could be found riding one of his motorcycles or simply spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Kimberly, and daughters Rebecca and Samantha, parents Leonard and Bernice Parsons and Howard Parsons and Christina Powers. Also survived by sister Linda (Mike), sisters-in-law Tina (Wilf) and Lori (Dean), brother-in-law Rob, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Oromocto Funeral Home, with visitation on Thursday, September 5th, 2013, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A service celebrating Paul’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, September 6th, 2013 at St. Luke’s Chapel, CFB Gagetown with Padre Leslie Johnston officiating. For those who wish, memorial tributes in Paul’s honour may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society. wwworomoctofh.com
