CHOLMONDELEY, ALLISTER - Allister P. Cholmondeley passed away peacefully at Lakeview Manor, Riverview, on Wednesday, September 4th, 2013 at the age of 83. Born in Westville, NS on October 11th, 1929, he was the son of the late Arthur and Estella (Moore) Cholmondeley. Al was a well-known chef, loved auctions, was a faithful member of the Anglican Church Parish, and a loved and respected volunteer at Lakeview Manor.
He is survived by his son Mark Cholmondeley of Parkindale, NB, and a granddaughter Sarah. Also surviving is Mark’s mother Todd, sister Alice Smith (Doug) New Glasgow, NS, brother Arthur Cholmondeley (Linda) ON, Gary Cholmondeley (Diane) ON, and Howard Cholmondeley (Beverly) NS, several nieces and nephews, special friends Lynn Reade and Debbie Steeves. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Betty Cunningham and a sister Shirley Zentner and a brother Gordon. The family would like to thank the staff of Lakeview Manor for the love and care Al received while he lived there. By personal request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
