BERNIER, MARION - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Marion (Bezeau) Bernier which occurred at the Rocmaura Nursing Home on Thursday, September 5th, 2013 with her 3 angels by her side. Born 1929, in Miscou Island, NB, she was the daughter of the late Mike and Elizabeth (Beaudin) Bezeau. Marion enjoyed bingo and family gatherings. Marion is survived by her sons Joseph (Debbie), David (Janice); daughters Beatrice Jackson (Mitch), Ann Nason (Delbert), Marie Hunter (Andy), Cecil Hill (Wayne), Brenda Bernier (Harvey), Susie Bernier all of Saint John; sister Edith Moore (John) of Saint John; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Marion was predeceased by her husband Joseph; son Wally; brothers Albert and Lawrence Bezeau; sisters Rose "Vicie" Bass and Marie "Mabel" MacDonald and granddaughter Lisa.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Per Marion's wishes there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held from St. Joachim's Catholic Church on Monday, September 9th at 12 noon followed by an interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
