COLLETTE, DONAT - 1919 - 2013 - Donat Collette, 94, of Cocagne, passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Friday September 6th, 2013. He was married to the late Thérèse Leger. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Johnny and the late Elise (Robichaud) Collette. He will be sadly missed by his daughters: Linda Nowlan of Bouctouche, Lise Goguen (Donald Carroll) of Shediac and Ginette Collette (Marc Girouard) of Laval, Quebec, his son Léo-Paul (Norma) of Cocagne, his seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He also leaves to mourn a sister Laura Bastarache of Cocagne and several nieces and nephews. Donat was predeceased by three sons, Valmond (2005), Rhéal (1993), Raymond and his son Rémi (1990), one sister Adeline and six brothers: Damien, Théodore, Néri, Arthur, Albert and Daniel.
Visitations will be held in the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Cocagne on Sunday Septembre 8, 2013 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 and on Monday from 2 to 3:45pm. Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Pierre Church on Monday September 9th, 2013 at 4:00pm, with interment in the parish cemetery.
