Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, September 8, 2013 of Seal Cove, age 92 years. Predeceased by his wife Mary (2012), 3 brothers: Francis, Chris and Leo, 1 sister Philomena. Leaving to mourn 7 children: Patsy (Max), John (Rita), Wayne (Betty), Tony (Lucy), Mary (Bob), Linda (Robert) and Nellie, 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson. Also nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 2 p.m. in St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Upper Gullies. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Upper Gullies.
