DUNCAN, MALCOLM McLEOD - It is with sad and heavy hearts that the family of Malcolm McLeod Duncan of Kingston, NB loving partner of Debra Edwards announces his sudden and unexpected passing on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Malcolm was born in Saint John November 26, 1952 to the late Sam and Marion (Dimmick) Duncan. Malcolm was a bricklayer by trade but his passion was for selling cars. He was an avid collector of vintage toys and had a love for the outdoors; driving his backhoe, tractor and four wheeling with his family. He also enjoyed having bonfires with his grandchildren. Malcolm is survived by his longtime partner Debra Edwards, his two sons Michael (Michelle), Jeremy (Jenna) and Eileen Duncan (mother of his boys) all of Kingston; stepchildren Jessica Campbell (Janine) of Saint John, Jason Campbell (Mary Ellen) of Kingston, Jeffrey Campbell (Heidi) of Quispamsis; grandchildren Devin, Emily, Dylan, Austin, Emma, Kassidy, Zoë, Jayden and Kylie; brother Billy (Arlene) of St. Stepehen; sister Heather (Rick) of Kingston; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends. Besides his parents Malcolm was predeceased by his mother-in-law Thelma (Trecartin) Edwards and brother-in-law Scott Hamilton. The family would like to give a sincere thanks to Dr. Peter West and the Staff of ICU at the SJRH.
Visitation will be held at the Kingston Anglican Parish Hall on Thursday, September 19th from 4 to 9 p.m. Private burial will take place on Friday, September 20, 2013. A celebration of Malcolm’s life will take place at the Kingston Anglican Parish Hall on Friday September 20th to begin at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Kingston Anglican Church 5946 Route 845, Kingston, NB E5N 1E9 (506-763-3185).
