GRASSE, EUGENE MANFORD - The death of Eugene Grasse of Geary, NB occurred peacefully at his home on Monday, September 16th, 2013. Born in Geary, NB he was the son of the late Kenneth and Maime (Carr) Grasse and husband of the late Irma Irene Grasse. Survived by his sons, Duane, Steven (Suzanne) and Jody all of Geary, NB; grandchildren, Sabrina, Sherry and Samantha Grasse all of Geary, NB; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Danny (Bertha) and Glendon (Geraldine) all of Geary, NB; sister, Carolyn Moss of Florida; special family friend, Dawn Kavanaugh; special niece, Delores Drummond as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; loving wife, Irma and his brother, Philip Grasse.
Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago Street on Wednesday, September 18th, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 19th, 2013 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Robert Foster officiating. Interment will follow in the Preston Carr Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Eugene’s honor may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
