Seaman, John (Jack), Great Village, passed away peacefully Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre Truro. Born in Great Village on November 17, 1938, to the late Claude and Susan (Perrin) Seaman. He is survived by his sisters; Margaret Higgins, Truro, Jean Hart, Airdrie, AB, Shirley Knibbs, Truro, Millie (Julien) Stoltz, Camrose, AB, Dorothy (Colin) Goldrich, Prince George, BC,Susan (Brent) Garnhum, Glenholme; brother, Donald (Gail) Seaman, Hamilton, ON; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews and many friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by sister, Janice MacAuley, Pugwash; brother, Calvin Seaman, Barrie, ON. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro. No visitation or funeral service. A graveside memorial and interment will be held Saturday at 11 am, September 21, in the Eagle Hill Cemetery, Westchester Station for his family and close friends.
