The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, of Anne MacPherson of Charlottetown and formerly of Eldon, age 83 years. Born in Ireland she emigrated to P.E.I. in 1947 as a war bride. Wife of the late Ross MacPherson. Mother of Elizabeth (Allen) Monkley, Valerie (Lew) Robinson, Johnny (Una) and Linda (Bruce) MacMillan. Grandmother of 12 grandchildren and great-grandmother of seven great-grandchildren. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Completed arrangements to be announced later.
