It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Hunt announce his passing Monday, September 30th, 2013 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 66 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his three children: Cyril (Evelyn), Warrick (Maureen) and Teena (Paul) Mitchell; seven grandchildren: Ashley, Matthew (Jessica), Gregory (Cheyenne), Melena, Maggie, Kara and Ava; brothers: Austin (Shirley), Karl (Doris), John (Ina) and Allan Jr. (Peggy); mother-in-law: Mildred Pye; brothers and sisters-in-law: Dorothy Pye (Dougal), Christina Power (Wayne) and Wayne Pye (Glenis); as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Judy, parents Allan and Melena and father-in-law Cyril Pye. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Wednesday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Curling with Reverend Rosemarie Payne officiating, with interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
