MICHAEL P. O'NEILL
March 16, 1951 - September 30, 2013
On September 30, 2013 in the afternoon, long time Kamloops lawyer, Michael Patrick O'Neill, age 62, husband, father, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend passed away unexpectedly.
He is survived by his loving wife Diane, his daughter Lauren O'Neill (Ken Jones), his son Michael Craig O'Neill, sisters and brothers Johanne (Les) Norlander, Linda (Ken) Favrholdt, Sandra (Bob) Schraeder, Lisa O'Neill, Danielle O'Neill, John O'Neill, Deirdre (Mark) O'Neill and Shane O'Neill, sister-in-law Heather McLaren (George) and brother-in-law Graham McLaren. He also leaves nieces and nephews Meghan Hurren (Kevin Harper), Kate Supernant (Gary Hill), Nick (Amanda) Supernant, Alysha Norlander, Thoren Norlander, and Tracy Gonzalez (Omar), as well as ten great nieces and nephews.
Michael was predeceased by his mother and father Jack and Ghiselaine, his father-in-law Graham McLaren and nephew Aaron Hurren.
Michael was a remarkable and loving man who cherished his family and friends. He believed family was the most important thing in the world. He made dinner for us all every Sunday, and he made everyone welcome. The world has lost some of its lustre for all who knew him. He will be missed.
