
Colin Joseph MacIsaac
MacIsaac, Colin Joseph, 50 – Truro passed away October 2, 2013 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Halifax he was a son of Mary Ellen (Brown) and the late Colin Joseph MacIsaac. He worked for many years with the Halifax Regional Municipality. Colin enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also loved fishing and hunting. He used to tie his own flies and go fishing for salmon on the Margaree River. Colin would tell “fish stories” about his trips and everytime he told the stories the fish seemed to get bigger and bigger. He is survived by his loving wife, Caroline; sister Susan (Brent) Bina; mother and father-in law, Dot and Ted Barnes; sister-in-law, Susan (Jim) Edwards; one nephew and three nieces. Visitation will be held today from 6-8 pm; funeral service on Saturday, October 5 at 2 pm; both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Ian Harrison officiating.
