Of Coley's Point. Passed away at the Interfaith Nursing Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Mrs. Parsons was 92 years old. She leaves to mourn her loving family: children: Arthur Parsons and Margaret (Clarence) Mercer; grandchildren: Jason (Natasha) and Curtis (Jennifer); great-grandchildren: Jayden, Nicholas and Luke Mercer. Predeceased by: husband Samuel Parsons; parents: George and Jessie Rowsell; brothers: Pastor Charles (Olivine) Rowsell and Arthur (Ruby) Rowsell; sister Hilda Rowsell. The funeral service will take place at St. John the Evangelist Church and Cemetery, Coley's Point on Saturday, October 5, 2013, 11 a.m. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, L.T.
