The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, of William Robert “Bob” Green of Summerside, aged 80 years. Born in Burnley, Lancashire, England, he was the son of the late Charles and Hannah (Dickenson) Green. Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Ivy (Harris) Green; children, Stuart Green (David Palmer); Steven (Nancy) Green; grandchildren, Lindsay and Ian; sister, Ann (Stuart) Campbell; sister-in-law, Jenny Atkinson; loving grandpets, Daisy, Apple, Forrest, Maizie and Effie; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters-in-law, John Harris, Winnifred “Winnie” Bowden, George Harris, Jean Southern and Jim Atkinson. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date in England. Visiting hours Saturday from 2 p.m., until the time of the funeral. Memorial donations to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Physical Medicine Department would be appreciated.
