William "Bill"  Jollymore

1928 - 2013
It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of William "Bill" Jollymore Sr., 85, of River Hebert. Bill passed away peacefully into God's care, surrounded by his family and his loving caregivers at Gables Lodge on October 1, 2013.
Born in Wentworth, he was the son of the late Earl and Christina (Forsythe) Jolllymore of Amherst, but spend his youth with his grandparents James and Jessie Forsythe of Wentworth, NS.
Bill worked up until his retirement for the Department of Highways in Halifax and Amherst.
He enjoyed life to the fullest, fishing at Folly Lake, hunting and camping for many years at Spicer's Cove and Apple River. He enjoyed tinkering at Gerry's garage in River Hebert, hanging out with his Tim Horton buddies and his daily visits to Canadian Tire. He looked forward to his many drives with his wife Allie around River Hebert and Joggins. He socialized with anyone he met and helped anyone who needed him.
He will be sadly missed by his sons Billy (Vckie), River Hebert, Larry (Debbie), Elmsdale, NS; daughters Judy Jollymore and Sandy (Gordie) Landry, River Hebert; step-daughters Deanna Woodworth and Marlene Keirstead, both of Fredericton, NB; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren as well as his special Aunt Lillian Wells, Amherst; brothers Wayne and Gerald, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife Allie (Elvina), sister Roxie (Art) Budd; step-son Darrel Hunter; step-father Burt Petit; sister-in-laws Pat Jollymore, Donnie Edwards and Blanch Gates.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, River Hebert, (902-251-2877) where visiting hours will take place on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm. Bill's funeral service will be celebrated from the River Hebert Baptist Church on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 11 am, Rev. Philip Scott officiating. Burial will follow in River Hebert Hillside Cemetery.
