It is with great sadness that the family of the late Brian Rumboldt announce his passing on Sept. 29, 2013 in Toronto, Ontario. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his parents John and Marie Rumboldt (Deer Lake); siblings: Wayne (Denise), Corner Brook, Regina (Don), Ottawa, Tony (Cindy), Corner Brook, Maureen, Deer Lake, Chris (Rhonda) Corner Brook, Jenny, Edmonton, Jackie (Don) Oxford, NS; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, a large circle of co-workers and students under the Toronto Catholic School Board where he taught for 25 years. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Monday, Oct. 7, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 10:30 from Immaculate Conception Church with Father Terry Boland officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Wight’s Road. A memorial service will also be held at St. Mary’s School in Toronto on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 1:00 pm. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
