WESTVILLE – William Joseph “Jake" Carrigan, 71, Temperance Street, Westville, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013 at his home.
Born in New Glasgow, Jake was a son of the late John and Catherine “Kay” (Martin) Carrigan, North Main Street, Westville.
Jake was a talented guitar player playing in his earlier days with the Classics as well as many other bands. He continued his love of music by teaching guitar to over 300 students. He was a welder by trade at Hawker Siddeley Ltd., Trenton until retirement.
Jake will be sadly missed by his wife Faye (Marshall); daughter Janet, Westville; sons, Jackie, Burnaby, B.C.; James, at home; and grandson Matthew, Kelowna, B.C.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. There will be no visiting or funeral service by request of the family.
