Shirley Mae (Rafter) Rowley - 87, Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Shirley went absent from the body and present with her Lord at 5:25 a.m., Thursday, September 19, 2013. Born May 19, 1926, in Amherst, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Florence Rafter. (New Glasgow) A service of celebration and praise of Shirley's life will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, October 12, 2013, at The Peoples Church, 15 Elm Street, Truro, Pastor Ken Fillmore officiating. Reception will follow. Interment will be held at a later date. If so desired, donations in Shirley’s memory to The Gideons are welcomed.
