Kinney, Verta Ineze - Verta I. Kinney of Fredericton, NB passed away October 11, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Verta was born in 1932 at Millville, NB, a daughter of the late Edward and Nellie (Prosser) Marr. She was a member of the First Kingsclear Baptist Church.
She is survived by sisters, Anna Weild, Moose Jaw, SK, Geraldine Reid and Lila Myshrall, both of Nackawic, NB; a brother, Reginald Marr (Sandra), Nackawic, NB; two sisters-in-law, Rowena Culbert, Mississauga, ON and Emily Giles, Fredericton, NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Verta was predeceased by her first husband, Leslie Fox in 1962; her second husband, Karl F. Kinney on July 2, 2013; an infant daughter, Marilyn Fox and a brother, Alfred Marr.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at 2 p.m. Rev. Paul Thompson will officiate at the service. Interment will follow at Hawkins Corner Cemetery.
