Peacefully at home on Thursday, October 10, 2013, of S. Eric Butler of Indian River, aged 84 years. Born in Peters Road on September 1, 1929, son of the late Lloyd and Annie (Clow) Butler. Husband of the late Helen I. (Jackson) Butler. Father of Rick (Rose Bernard) Butler, Indian River; Janice (Eugene) Busch, Schurman's Point, North Bedeque; Lana Butler (Peter VanRossem), Kingston, Ontario; and Monique Butler, Indian River. Grandfather of Rhett (Jennifer), Tessa (Frankie), Adrian (Wayne), Joshua (Katie), Darcey (Peter), Tia (Brad), Jamie, Peter (Caitlin) and Brian (Nikki). Great-grandfather of Karleigh, Kolbie, River, Destiny, Matthias, Avery, Maggie, Beckham, Arwyn, Reichen and Quinn. Brother of Ron (Margaret) Butler, Ken (Janice) Butler, Joyce (Preston) Hume, Gloria (Glen) Lecco and Eileen McSwain (Harold deceased). Brother-in-law of Carol Butler. Predeceased by brothers Julian, Cyril and Cam Butler. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. No visitation or funeral service will be held in respecting Eric's wishes.
