Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on Saturday, October 12, 2013 in the presence of his loving family, Thomas M. O’Brien age 70 years. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Rita brother Ronald sister Shirley and nephew Michael. Leaving to mourn his wife Kareen sons Stuart, Michael and Fabian; grandchildren Michael and Scott three sisters Dot (Fred), Elizabeth (Ed) and Marie (Brian) and five brothers Vince (Carol), Stan (Peg), Felix (Joy), Gerry and Reg (Cathy) and special friends Ray Freake, Mark Condon and Nick Thistle. Also leaving a large circle of nieces nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home , Bay Bulls on Monday and Tuesday from 2 PM - 9 PM . Funeral mass 11 am on Wednesday, October 16,2013 from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church , Cape Broyle with cremation to follow . Flowers graciously accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Paraplegic Association.
