It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alice Theresa Galliott of Eddies Cove, NL announce her passing on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 64 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband John; daughter Holly (Angus) of Oromocto, New Brunswick; son John JR. (Myrna) of Stony Plain, Alberta; granddaughter Kirsten; grandson Jack; father Patrick Myers; brothers Augustus, Terry, Randell, Wayne, and Amedee; sisters Irene, Helen and her best friend Justine Galliott, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Mercedes, sister Jessie, parents-in-law, Jack and Cecilia Galliott. Visitation took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Bartlett's Harbour on Monday and Tuesday from where the funeral service took place on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Ralph officiating. Interment followed at Doctors Brook Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
