The death occurred at Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Monday, October 14, 2013, of Eva Mary Moreshead, fomerly of O'Leary, aged 86 years. Born in Piusville on June 24, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Fermaine and Victoria (DesRoches) Blanchard. Dear mother to Sally Gallant, Hamilton, ON. Loving grandmother to Todd, Ryan, Crystal and several great-grandchildren. Eva is also survived by her brother Kenneth (Alma) Blanchard, Cape Wolfe. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Marie Blanchard, Doris Blanchard, both of O'Leary; brother-in-law Bill Casten, USA, and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband Vernon Bulger (1980) and second husband Bernard Moreshead (1987), brothers and sisters: Tommy, twin sister Doris, Olive, Dolly, Benny, Marie, Raymond, Dora, Leonard and Theresa. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday until 9:45 a.m., then to St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, Burton Lot 7, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Mark's Cemetery, Burton Lot 7. In memory of Eva, memorials to Alzheimer Society or St. Mark's Cemetery would be appreciated.
