Peacefully and surrounded by family, Leo F. Roberts of West Covehead departed this world on October 18, 2013 at the Palliative Care Unit.
Beloved husband of Beverly Ramsay, and dear father of Kim (Jason) Rector, Katherine "Kathy" (Dion Jean) Roberts, and Nancy (Troy Rooney) Roberts. He will be missed by his five grandchildren, Cory, Alicia, Colin, Nathan and Megan; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Lloyd (Edith) Roberts, Basil (Vera) Roberts, Cecil "Deedee" (Cecelia) Roberts, Sterling Roberts, and Larry MacDonald; sister, Bernadette "Bernie" MacIntyre; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Roberts and Judy MacDonald; brother-in-law, Harold Blacquiere; and special nephew, Allan (Roxanne) MacIntyre.
He was predeceased by his parents, Hubert and Stella (nee Dunn) Roberts; brothers, Leith Roberts, Reuben Roberts, Gerald MacDonald, and Leonard MacDonald; sister, Kay Blacquiere; and infant brother, Gerard MacDonald.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot in the People’s Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
