It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of (Anna) Gertrude (Gertie) George nee Anderson, age 92, formerly from Lower Lance Cove, Random Island, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, Alberta on October 15, 2013. Predeceased by her husband, Harry; daughter, Marjorie; son, Lindsay; grandsons, Roger, Darrell and Todd; brothers, Clyde and Chesley (Sheila), parents, John and Geneva; daughter-in-law, Betty; son-in-law, Heldon and brother-in-law, Fred Laite . Leaving to mourn with many precious and loving memories are her children, Clarence (Betty), Carol Baker, Vince (Mildred) and Wavey Stanley (Oliver); sister, Rupel; daughter-in-law, Eva; sister-in-law, Margaret Wilcox; 19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
