Passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex, Alma Hewitt. Age 89 years. Formerly of Fogo Island. Predeceased by husband Roy and daughter Helen. Left with fond memories are her 3 sons: Eli (Geri), Robert (Fatima), Marshall (Brenda) and 3 daughters: Beryl (Gordon Carter), Elva (Kevin Harding), Marion (David Osbourne); 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; as well as a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl, on Thursday, October 24th, from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service on Friday, October 25th, 2013 at 11 a.m., from Holy Innocents Anglican Church, Paradise. Cremation to follow.
