The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, September 25, 2008, of Rita Pearl Dyment, affectionately known as “Nana”, of Summerside, age 94 years. Rita was born in Northam on November 5, 1913, to her late parents Russell and Devona (Birch) Ramsay. Wife of the late Milton Gerald Dyment and loving mother of Bonnie Dyment, John “Jack” (Marguerite) Dyment, and grandmother of Jenifer E. Rita Dyment (David Johns) of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by Josh (Leslie) Dyment, their children and her many nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister, Kathleen MacLean of Cole Harbour, N.S. Besides her husband and parents, Rita was predeceased by her sisters, Edna, Maude and infant sister, Birdie, and by brothers, Ray, Alger, George and Ernest. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summer Street, Summerside, where a private family service will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Victoria West People’s Cemetery.
