Peacefully surrounded by his family at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, October 27, 2013, of Albert Joseph Arsenault of Abram's Village, age 74 years. Albert was born in Abram's Village on January 2, 1939, son of the late Cyril and Emelda (Gallant) Arsenault. Beloved husband of the late Eileen (MacAusland) Arsenault. Dear father of Barb (Lorne) Pye, Summerside, Paul (Carla) of Sudbury, Ont., Susan (Dwayne) Gallant, Abram's Village. He is survived by six grandchildren: Nicole, Stephen, Ashley, James, Paige (Pierre) and Jessica. Great-grandfather to Cheyenne, Kaleigh, Jackson and Luke. Survived by brothers and sisters, Edward (Loretta), Surrey B.C., Leo (Lynda), Uculete, B.C., Lydia (Denis), Ontario, Diane (Leonard), Summerside, Eva (Ernest), Abram's Village, Doris (Roy), Abram's Village, Aubin (Louise), Abram's Village, and friend Margaret Arsenault. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Tilmon, sister Lilianne Cameron. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville, until Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, for a funeral service in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours on Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Albert's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
