Margaret Lillian Dooley, age 63 of Hoyt Ave, Stellarton, passed away October 27, 2013 in the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit surrounded by family.
Born on February 8, 1950 in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late James and Gladys (Emery) Hayes.
Margaret was a Stellarton resident all of her life except for several years spent in Ontario. Margaret was employed at Highland News in the Highland Square Mall.
She is survived by her husband Kendall (Ken), Stellarton; sons Kent, Fredericton; and Ryan (Lorena Schwartz), Halifax; brother James (Helen) Hayes, Stellarton; sisters Jean (Howie) Sampson, Stellarton; Edna (Norman) Dunbar, Abercrombie; three grandchildren: Kory, Gavin, and Kayla; many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was predeceased by her brother Thomas.
Cremation has taken place. There is no visitation or funeral service at the request of the deceased.
Donations in memory of Margaret can be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society or a charity of your choice.
The family would like to thank the Aberdeen Palliative Care Unit as well as the Intensive Care Unit for the dedication and professionalism; also the VON staff, respiratory staff.
