Dorilla Cormier-Quillian
CORMIER-QUILLIAN, DORILLA - Dorilla Cormier-Quillian, 90, formerly of Ellerdale Avenue in Moncton, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at the Villa du Repos. Born on February 5, 1923 in Notre-Dame, she was the daughter of the late Amand and Alma (Allain) Cormier. She is survived by one daughter, Monique Cormier of Ajax, ON; one son, Jean-Valmont Cormier (Cécile) of St-Thomas-de-Kent; one step-daughter, Carole Power (Jim) of Coverdale; two step-sons: James (Dorothy) of Moncton and Leonard (Linda) of Upper Mountain Road; two sisters: Rosa Bastarache of Moncton and Irene Rouleau of Montreal; two grandchildren: Josette Rice (Mark) and Daniel (Lauri); seven great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Roger J. Cormier (1982); her second husband, Thomas Quillian (1996); three sisters: Sr Lucienne Cormier, ndsc, Marie McDonald and Aurore LeBlanc; two brothers: Gerard and Cyrill.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Friday from 9 am until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
