It is with tremendous sadness that the family of the late Diane Basha announce her peaceful passing in the Intensive Care Unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, October 29th, 2013 at the age of 61. She was a beautiful sweet and kind angel who will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 35 years Tony; son Anthony and her daughter Jodi; as well leaving to mourn her mother Nonie Porter; siblings: Bill (Shirl), Don (Bern), Paul, Terry (Sharon), Tom (Karen), Pauline Rose (Guy), Darlene Thornton (Howie), Jerry (Kelly), Michael; her many nieces, nephews, friends and her cherished cats whom she had a great love for. Diane was predeceased by her father Gordon Porter, October 26, 1983, niece & godchild Paula Rose May 25, 1997. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 2nd at 2:00 p.m. from Sacred Heart Church, Curling Street, Father Don Leonard officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street, Thursday & Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
