The death occurred at Beach Grove Home on Saturday, September 27, 2008, of Mr. Francis B. “Frank” Burke of Charlottetown in his 78th year. Frank is fondly remembered by his sister, Shirley (Rae) Doyle; his brothers, Lorn (Beryl), Wendell “Cy” (Bernadette), Arthur (Beverley); sister-in-law, Eileen Burke and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Julie (Gallant) Burke; brother, Clarence Burke; sister, Mary; brother-in-law, J.R. “Rocky” Ryan and special nephew, Chris Ryan. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Monday 5-9 p.m. If so desired, memorial contributions in Frank’s memory may be made to the Beach Grove Home Courtyard Project.
