The death occurred at the Whisperwood Villa on Saturday, September 27, 2008, of Alleen MacLean of Charlottetown, aged 93 years. Alleen is survived by her daughter, Donna Ling-MacRae, son-in-law, Harvey MacRae, granddaughter Andrea MacRae of Charlottetown and grandson Aaron MacRae of Calgary, step-daughter Elizabeth Pippy, sister-in-law Evelyn Cudmore, Montague, nieces and nephews and special cousin Laura Curtis, Milton. Predeceased by her husbands, Walter Ling and Chester Matheson, parents Albert and Ada Cudmore, brothers James and Lorne Cudmore, sisters Lillian Kingston and Jennie Lester. Resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held in the Portage Cemetery on Tuesday at 3 p.m. Visiting hours on Monday 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the P.E.I.
