Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013 in her 67th year. Predeceased by: parents Walter and Sophie Duffett, nephew Robert Martin, nephew Wayne Strickland, and Wayne’s wife Yvonne. Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories are her daughter Susan; sisters: Elsie Leawood (John), Diane Strickland (Jim), Rebecca George (Earl), Cynthia Simmons (Clyde), Eva Martin (William), and Judy Parrott (Vernon); brother Wayne Duffett (Dianne); a large group of nieces and nephews; and a large circle of family and friends. The funeral service, officiated by Glen Ivany, took place at the Kingdom Hall, Shoal Hr. at 2:00pm on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013 with internment following at the Jehovah Witness Cemetery on Random Island.
