ETTINGER, Joseph Charles “Joe” - 89, of Windsor, passed away Friday, November 1, 2013 in Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Hospital, Halifax. Born in Mapleton, Hants Co., he was a son of the late Ralph and Maryann (Caldwell) Ettinger. Joe served in the Canadian Army in the Second World War as well as the Korean Conflict. Joe is survived by his sons, Henry, Steven, and Peter; daughters, Marylou and Susan; step-son, Keith Wilson. He was predeceased by his first wife, Betty (Moore) and second wife, Marjorie (Frail); sisters, Dorothy and Margaret; brothers, John, Ralph and George; step-daughter, Jean Brown. Arrangements were entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). Burial took place in West Gore Cemetery, West Gore.
