HATFIELD, LAURA KRISTEN - It is with great sadness that the family of Laura K. Hatfield announces her unexpected passing, on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at her home. Loving wife to Brian, she was born in Saint John to Edna (Northrup) Hanson and the late Roy Hanson. Laura had a beautiful heart and she loved her children, they were her light. In her earlier days, she had a passion for darts and kept playing until her illness prevented her from doing so. She will be sadly missed. Laura is survived by her children Kenny (Shyanne) Hansen, Dawn (Craig) Thibodeau, Tyler (Katie) Hansen, Jennifer (Jamie) Shipley, Danny (Jackie) Hatfield, Tammy (Mike) Marshall, Chris (Melanie) Hatfield, Tom (Wendy) Hatfield; brother Ronald (Connie) Hanson; sisters Carol Hanson and Sherry Hanson; many beautiful grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews. Along with her father, Laura was also predeceased by her brother Gerry and sisters Jean and Sandy.
Arrangements under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB., (506) 646-2424 with visitation Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 8, 2013 from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 2 pm. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery followed by a reception at the funeral home.
