Born in Kensington, August 26, 1934, son of the late William and Lilly Champion. Husband of Marlene J. (Wagner) Champion. Father of Richard (Cheryl) Champion, Meadowbank; Sherry (Robert) Jones, Lethbridge, AB; William (Cheryl) Champion, Bedford, NS, and Brenda (Felix) Pettigrew, Hammond Plains, NS. Grandfather to Aaron (Megan), Matthew, Alex and Mitchell Champion, Christopher, Steven and Spencer Jones and Shane Pettigrew. Great-grandfather to Landon and Kaylee Champion. Brother-in-law of Ronald Bucknam. Predeceased by his sister Iris (Champion) Bucknam. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in People's Cemetery, Kensington.
