MAILLET, ROSIE - Rosie Maillet, 96, formerly of Richibouctou, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the Villa Providence in Shediac. Born on March 8, 1917 in Cap-Lumière, she was the daughter of the late Valentin and Suzanne (Zion) Maillet. She is survived by one daughter, Ginette Saulnier (Roger) of Dieppe; one son-in-law, Vincent of Halifax; two brothers: Gérard (late Rita) of Richibouctou Village and Zoël (Diana) of Richibouctou; five grandchildren: Diane, Denise, Vince, Teresa and Nicole; nine great-grandchildren: Corey, Brett, Kyle, Sara, Sean, Brandon, Grant Alban, Elia and Seth; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Alban (2005); one daughter, Maria (2009); one sister, Lorette; three brothers: Ferris, Freddy and Ernest. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude towards the staff and doctors of Villa Providence and Unit 3C of Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC for their wonderful care and attention provided to Rosie.
No visitation by request. The funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow at the centre.
