Albert Hebert
HEBERT, ALBERT - 1916 - 2013 - Born in Cocagne Cape on June 5, 1916, he was the son of the late Charles and Marie (Breau) who both died when he was two years old. He was brought up by his uncle Joseph Hebert and aunt Mabel. He is survived by his son Georges (Claudette) of Bedford, NS. Bert was predeceased by his wife Anita (Lirette), his son Charles, (Jeannine), his sisters Mabel, (Arthur), Anne (Lorenzo), brothers Edgar (Emilienne), Edmond (Lorraine), Alcide (Germaine), and Johnny (Christine). He also leaves grandchildren Daniel, Marc, Lisa, Christopher, Paula, and great grandchildren Andrew, James, Tyler, Myles, Makayla, Natalie Mei, Sarah and Isabelle. Bert lived most of his life on Emmerson Street, Moncton, and worked for CKCW in Moncton for over 45 years as operator, announcer, librarian, etc. He was, at one time, well known as a musician, (harmonica) playing with groups such as Full-o-Pep Gang and The Bunkhouse Boys. He also had an interest in recording bands and choirs and was an amateur photographer. He had a wonderful sense of humour and will be missed.
A funeral service will be held at Christ de Roi RC Church on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 11:00 am followed by a reception at the Golden Age Club. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
